A brief observation my sister had while sitting in an airport during a layover reminds me of the movie Spaceballs.

Very funny you mention not being able to live without technology. This past weekend I was about 1.5 hours SE of Tulsa,OK “deer hunting” with some Army buddies. There we were sitting on top of this hill, them with their web-enabled cell phones, me with my Centro and we were bluetooth-ing ringtones, checking email, I set up my Fantasy Football line up (which I won by the way), and last but not least I was Twittering.

Technology has certainly rooted itself into our lives that we can no longer escape it. We have been assimilated and resistance was certainly futile, then again I do not recall resisting.

Yeah, I’ve been running head first into technology’s embrace. However, you can count me out when it comes time to do the chip implant/barcoding thing. Not gonna go there!
